To overlook how big a collab like this could've been years ago would be pretty silly. It's a very good song, especially since 50 has had a current Laker-esque winning % of good songs to bad ones over the years. Something that could have been huge years ago if egos would've been put aside sooner will now be regulated as just another song in the sea of other songs, forgotten about two weeks from now, which is pretty sad.
He might as well get game and buck back and do a tour with Em. But it seems like they're all in their feelings.
i seriously don't know what's the hold up of his music, but his fanbase from GRODT days is long gone. like does he not know pushbacks have killed for careers than helped? that Free Again track shows some of that hunger but most people have moved on, not many people are waiting for his stuff. the wait has been too long, he can't expect people to wait all this time and then expect to start selling like he did before.
The fact that 50 pretty much rapped about pushing Jada/Styles/Sheek's stuff back on multiple occasions just brings this full circle
The Troy Ave dude is the only one making actual real new york gritty grimey dark 90's era rap...
These ASAP dudes got a song called Trillmatic...and they got a dude that channeled his inner Nasir Jones....but clothes looking like Kid Cudi, Kendrick Lamar and Kanye West..
makes no sense at all...
talking about guns and bricks, bodies and the ghetto...but.......running around with tight leather pants, tee-skirts and tee-dresses....I hate those fruitbaskets.....harlem to soho...no home oh...
it dont add up...i let you tell it...
Yeh I dont know about this guy 50
How can you be a hard NYC gangsta rapper doing NASCAR deals and chopping it up with Meryl Streep?
