Kovalev deserved to win the first fight but only by a nose. It was Kovalev's fault for letting him off the hook after the knockdown. Ward downloaded the data and figured him out.

Yeah no. Ward too skilled. Ward would beat any of the greats in that division IMO, besides RJJ.
Spinks, Beterviev, Tunney, Moore, ect....
People forget no one was trying to fight KOVA at that time. He was the supposedly boogie man of the division. If you want to say KOVA won the first fight, I will give you that. That second fight though, Ward snatched his soul at the end and finished him for good. Kova was never the same after that.
