You need two touchdowns and you are not guaranteed that many more possessions

This game is about to be under 7 minutes already
Come on, man. You’re a regualr in the nfl thread so I know you’ve seen enough football where taking the field goal would’ve put the team trying to come back in position to win. **** happens every weekend in college and the pros.

I've seen enough football to know that if they had 18 points right now. They still need to score twice....with 4 minutes to go. Instead of potentially being down 8

I'm sorry fam but 3 points does absolutely nothing there

Kudos to the Irish man for not folding on this stage like ND teams of years passed...

They're going down swinging :hat

Disagree. It gives you a chance to win if they can get in the end zone twice like they had to do in yall scenario to tie it.

Doesn’t matter now anyway.

Kinda matters. Now they need to stop Ohio State and get the ball back and score with only 4 mins left when both teams have been chewing 5 mins per possession.

You need to know the fight you're in. Kicking a FG is banking on 2 more offensive possessions. There's no guarantee they get the ball back now, despite just scoring.

The sports bettors who call every game rigged are insufferable

But I admit, if this game ends 31-23 after being a potential blowout (with an 8.5 point spread), that would be hilarious

3 and out here and a touchdown would give them the lead instead of needing a td and 2 just to tie it. Field goal was the play there.

That two-point conversion turned it from a 10-point game to an 8-point game.

Final spread was Ohio State -9.5
