The record took a step back, but I thought USC was better this season than last.

I think he's got to work on his PR image. Part of being in LA is selling yourself to the media and fanbase. He seems like a grouch.

You can already see it coming. Notre Dame is going to give Freeman a long contract extension with a massive buyout and they're going to be mad about it in about 12 months when Notre Dame is 8-4 😂.

Knew what it was after the field goal by Mich, didn’t stick around for the melee lol….congrats for keeping the meaning of the rivalry in the program, it left Columbus long ago. Not sure who can bring it back, Hartline wasn’t even a legit OC

Ryan Day has a 37milly buyout, he’s not being fired anytime soon unless the boosters pony up

Should have just paid Cam what he asked for instead of downgrading to Willy

He left OU because he and his family wanted to live in Los Angeles and SC offered him a 10 year $97M guaranteed contract.

He probably also fumbled a legit shot at a national championship being overly loyal to his friend Grinch (understandable considering he lost their mentor leach and his good friend Dave Nichol within 3 months of each other. Was never gonna abandon Grinch after that.)

But if the refs don’t call three ******** personal fouls vs Utah 1, or if Caleb doesn’t blow a hammy vs Utah 2, we’re probably not having this convo.

His team as constituted would have still struggled in the SEC this year and tbh, usc had a ton of bad luck this season (not just eyeball test, they’re top 3 worst in the country by a luck factor advanced metric too.) I saw a progress this season over last, despite season record, and if Lincoln starts running the ball in the red zone more I think I (and tupac003 tupac003 also) would still take him over all but like 10 other options 🤷🏾‍♂️

@casper90403 is out on Linc though and I get it :lol

It's crazy to think about but with the benefit of hindsight it looks like Lincoln Riley's best opportunity to win a national championship was in his first year as a head coach in 2017.

He had the Heisman trophy winner, Baker Mayfield, and in the Rose Bowl Oklahoma was up 17 pts late in the second quarter. Georgia was lucky to make a historic come back but I genuinely believe Oklahoma was the best team in the country that year and would have beaten that Alabama team.

1-11 is really bad, but giving a guy only two years to fix a bad program is terrible.

Don’t understand why schools like WVU and Purdue have so much coaching turnover. Those schools really expect to make the CFP or win Natty’s? Nah, they should be overjoyed with 4-7 wins a year :lol

I mean… they played a four game schedule with only 3 road games all year :lol

But no hate to Freeman. Get your money black man! I hope he’s the longest tenured HC they have. And if we’re being real, there’s been zero drop off from Kelly, so if Bk deserved these kinda deals so should Marcus.

A lot of people would agree.

He deserves the deal for marrying a WHITE QUEEN 👸🏼

Walking into a burning house sure is a decision.
He’s either going to get credited for fixing the defense and get a HC gig off that, or he could get the interim tag if they are awful again and get the HC experience that way.

He interviewed for UCLA and a few other HC jobs and was a final 3 finalist for the USC DC job. He’s been trying to leave Nebraska since Rhule was hired.

kyler murray would have beaten Georgia

Wish Miller the best.

He is a good QB but he really didn't fit the system and LR didn't do a good job this year with play calling.

We got screwed a few plays and we were a very young team.

Is what it is.
