UF really kept Billy instead of offering Lane the enterity of Alachua county :smh:

Carson has good physical tools and last season he was incredibly accurate, showed great ball placement and rarely made bad decisions. Of course it is easing hindsight to see that he was probably force feeding Brock Bowers but teams didn't know that going into the season.

We are talking about a league that drafted Zach Wilson, Anthony Richardson, Trey Lance and about a dozen other bad QBs in the first round. NFL teams are willing to reach on a QB.
Richardson and Lance were completely different prospects and upside plays. Nobody is looking at Beck and thinking there’s a lot of upside there. UGA’s QBs aren’t asked to do a whole lot with Kirby’s style of play. I just never was impressed.

And We got 2 more L’s coming.

I said before somewhere rather not even make the playoff with this team so there’s no disappointment getting knocked out hoping we can win another

The amount of quality leche at The Grove tonight is going to be insane.

atlsfinest atlsfinest also Zach Wilson’s junior year >>> Beck’s. That’s why he was even in a position to get over drafted. Beck came back for his senior year for a reason

In that scenario are they beating Bama or Texas?
That wasn’t the contention I was facing, but what the hell

Miami could lose to both, could with a capital C let’s be honest Bama is not a strong weight as old, but they’d beat the likes of some of these first-round teams as an at-large.

Miami would absolutely beat some of these first round teams I just don’t know if it’d work out with the bracket

Beck doesn’t have the athleticism and big arm that those two have, he’s not worth a gamble

South Carolina is one of the better teams this year despite their 3 losses. They got blown out by Ole Miss but close losses to LSU and Bama both. QB is fun to watch :hat

Upset alert in Eugene!!

JJ McCarthy averaged 20 past attempts per game on a Michigan team that ran the ball 70% of the time and Michigan literally took the ball out of his hands and some of the biggest games of the year last season and he was still the first round pick. Teams take risks.

Also, you're arguing with me like I am the NFL draft guys who had him ranked highly. I'm not the guy you need to convince lol. I'm just regurgitating the information that I read about why he was QB1 going into the year. Argue with Daniel Jeremiah, Mel Kiper, etc

I know this thread hates Deion, but the turnaround he's had in 2 seasons be denied

Was always rooting for Prime but he and his sons made IT hard to last season and starting early into this season.

Also gave him props for Colorado's turnaround especially how the season looked like a repeat of last year to start.

Interesting in seeing how they look with Hunter and Shedeur gone next season.
