The first time I read the fact to the case my first instinct was that this was a scorned ex-girlfriend situation but I didn't want to come across as insensitive. Regardless, of if you are in the right and that your apartment you can't grab a pregnant woman. Even if she is 100% in the wrong you have to be the bigger person in the situation.

To a certain extent I agree, but on the other hand I also think you want to play the least amount of games as possible to save bodies and potential injuries
And lets be honest, as this season has shown anyone can lose to anyone on any given day (unless you're playing FSU)

If you are Notre Dame, and you don't have to play a conference title game, you will end up playing the same number of games as the 1 through 4 seeds. The only difference is that the conference champions get a bye during the first week of the playoff and Notre Dame would get a bye during conference championship weekend.
