I like basketball, but baseball is my first love and now that football is over I'm completely amped for this upcoming season. It doesn't help that the Warriors are complete under achievers, but that's a story for another thread.
NL West is tough, but we have a pretty good shot. If our pitching staff rebounds the sky is the limit in terms of the NL pennant.

From the looks of it. The reports are saying that the Giants are looking good in Spring. Lets hope they bring it in the regular season. I have a good feeling this year

This team has the talent to get to 90 wins imo. We may have win the west. Wildcard is going to be tough with the Nats/Braves and the Cardinals/Reds/Pirates.

We finished 2nd to last in the division and were the 2nd worst defending World Series champs. Yet, through all that, we had the best record within the division against NL West teams. Last year was weird, to say the least.

I hate to be negative about the upcoming season, but I feel like we need WAAAAAAAAAAY too many things to happen for us to be competitive.
We need:
-Posey to have a bounce back year
-Cain to have a bounce back year
-Vogelsong to have a bounce back year
-Lincecum to have a bounce back year
-Pence to hit how he hit last year
-Pablo to stay healthy all year
-Pagan to return to form after missing most of last year due to injury
-Hudson to return to form after missing most of last year due to injury
-Belt to build on his 2013 second half
-Morse to be more productive than he has been for the past two years
-our bullpen to become a strength of our team again
-our bench to not be a joke like it was last year.
I mean, this entire team is full of question marks. We literally need an overwhelming majority of those things I just listed to happen, or we are in for another tough season. If every one of those things happens, we can be a damn good team. I just wouldnt count on half of those to happen, let alone all of them.
Pumped for the season regardless.

Yea that 2nd spot it probably minimum 91 or 92
I'm not too worried about Cain, Posey, Hudson or the bullpen but I definitely have some concerns about the rest you listed.
