Let's finish this Tuesday...

madbum is so damn clutch :hat

and speaking of clutch...shoutouts to paul for taking a pic with the marlin guy. :lol
We were just walking around the park and we saw him. He stood out in a group of people so we talked to him a bit. Crazy, he's been to 87 straight World Series games. He's living the life I wanna live.

Sports fan wise, I think we all want to be able to do what that guy is able to do or something close to it when were in our 40's and 50's.

87 straight World Series games though, good lord.

If that 87 game streak includes this game 5 which was just played, he's been to every World Series game since game 2 of the 1998 World Series. That's crazy but awesome at the same time.

i waited 20 heartbreaking, disappointing years to win one god damn world series and now were one game away from our 3rd in 5 years.

Its unreal!

I was there last night, and from the 1st inning you just got the feeling that Bum wasn't going to give up anything. How lucky are we to have a guy like this to anchor the rotation down?!?

There is no question who is the big game pitcher in this era, I'm so glad he's starting to get the national attention he deserves

I feel Petit himself is more comfortable in the long-relief role.

I'd rather role with the Vets and see them get it done and give us even 5-6 quality innings. Their stuff hasn't been THAT bad where I'm afraid to start them.

Saw Baggs tweet that Bochy and staff are contemplating with the same lineup as Game 2 or starting Perez for Ishikawa.

No brainer here for me it has got to be Perez. Appreciate all that Ishikawa has done to get us to this point but with Peavy being a contact guy we need our best defensive outfield out there.

Both need to be on a very short leash.  Even if they're pitching well, I wouldn't want them facing the Royals lineup for the 3rd time.

My main issue is neither Peavy nor Hudson miss bats.  And the Royals seem to be making contact and extending at-bats all series until they get a mistake.

I'm with you guys on starting Perez in LF regardless of RHP. I want that defense from the get go.

Having 2002 game 6 flashbacks of Bonds gimping to the ball Glaus hit in left field to take the lead.

Very short leash.  Have Petit ready at any moment in game 6 and have Madbum ready at any moment in game 7.

I wanna see Perez out there too, not just for defensive reasons. His confidence has to be at an all-time high right now, and I feel like he can do more with Yordano's fastball than Ishikawa. Also getting his speed on the bases could be a difference maker. The kid has had some big hits for us this postseason, I think he's got one more left in him.

got way too faded.

was at the cove. but lost my money, cards, phone.

worth it? nah **** that I want my **** back. go giants and **** but damn. madbum gonna buy me my life back?
