Who pays for all of this stuff? Flyovers and fireworks aren’t cheap.

Usually these days, flyovers are incorporated into training and currency flights. Although the planes might be holding beforehand which wastes gas, the pilots would likely be flying anyways (or their schedule would be modified to accommodate the flyover).

Ticket sales, ESPN, and the city probably pay for all the other stuff like the fireworks.
