Lloris is awful at penalties btw, legit horrendous
When we face a PK at Spurs, I know it’s going in if it’s even a remotely decent kick

Nah, it’s about mental toughness.

In practice even mediocre players can score penalties 99% of the time. Under pressure with an entire club/country’s hopes depending on you is another story

They're awful.

Teams gotta still prepare for these but its such a mental part of the game it's not right for it to decide winners and losers. Especially in a magnitude of this significance for players legacies.

Yeah, as much as the drama of a shootout is fun in the earlier stages it’s not a good way to decide the final.

I’d rather see golden goal or something. The argument I’ve heard against just keeping going is that players start to get injured.
