Dolphins with a twist.

Seemingly not getting the guy they wanted, Flores is melting two people into one OC position. They will be blending more College to NFL concepts. Charlie Frye is supposed to have some input (Rap).

Seems very similar to how Flores was the defensive play caller not the official Coordinator. Difference being there was only one of him. I’m sure there is a lot more to this story, will be interesting to see how this works.

WILLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL! AS SOON AS HE SIGNS, START WORKING ON HIS HAMMY WHOLE BODY LOL

Well, we lost out on Jones, but got WR Fuller, so we got half of what I hoped for.

Now, we just have to crush the draft.

Dolphins love them “I used to be a QB but now I’m trying to be a WR” types.

2 is a coincidence, 3 is a trend. I wonder what drives that.

Dolphins trade from 3 to 12, then back up to 6. :eek :hat

We land the 49ers 1st round picks in 2022 and 2023, as well as a 3rd round pick in 2022.

We trade our own first in 2022 to go from 12 to 6, we still have a shot at Smith, Chase, Pitts, or Waddle.

In fact, we could still trade down on Draft Night like with Carolina or Dallas or something and take whoever is left. 8o

Well.......everyone thinks we are the ones to trade for Watson, talent wise, I get it, but with 22 counts, I really hope that we do not do anything stupid.

Sends a bad message if we trade everything to get him and then he's punished by either the law, or the league. Keep Tua, keep all your picks, and keep building. Legally. :lol

2021 is here. :hat

Please stay healthy and let's improve on last year. 🙏

Also, this year and next, root against SF every single week to help our draft position.

1-0.

X :hat

Tua's 10th career start. 2-0 vs Belichick.

After starting the season 1-3 last year, Dolphins are 10-3 since.

And the kicker.......3 first round picks not named Tua or Waddle, Austin Jackson didn't play, Igbo inactive, Philips with zero tackles or assists. We're winning while still having some youth to develop AND extra picks from the 49ers the next two years. Develop these guys and we might build a true 53 someday.

Welp........ :lol

Buffalo OWNS us. Today was a complete meltdown.

Usually under Flores we come back and fight.....not today tho. :{

The OL is in shambles. They got Tua killed in 6 snaps. Brisset didn't fare much better.

Drops, by everybody.

Fuller is MIA. (???)

Flush it, and need to earn a W in Vegas, otherwise......

Well, damn, y'all died and left me in charge? :( :lol

This was a schedule loss, we coulda brought Marino back and we weren't beating the Bucs, and even tho we did get it to 24-17 and it "looked" like a decent game, it was only a matter of time.

Things are bad, way bad, BUT.....hopefully things will start to improve soon.

Tua is back this week, hopefully.
DVP is back this week, hopefully.

Fuller back in 2 weeks. Hopefully.

They switched Austin Jackson to guard and he seemed to play better? Maybe he's the new Ereck Flowers, drafted too high at OT, but decent career as OG. Hopefully.

Annnnnnnnd, now we have potential Brian Flores trouble. :{ Sounds like Tua's camp is taking shots at Flores with how he's been dealing with the QB issues. Greeeeaaaaat.

Related, Phins went 0-4 without Tua, so......maybe people should shut up and let the kid play and see what we have. Well, and keep him healthy, so hopefully Jackson at G is a fix, but that leaves Jesse Davis at OT now, and........no. He needs to be upgraded. Hopefully.

Well....took a bit, but we are now officially 16 Starts in.

Keep in mind......this is without his supposed Top 2 WR's.

DVP and Fuller been ghost all year. :{

Yet he's still been this good. With no run game and the worst Oline in history.

Imagine........if his OLine is just average, and he has a decent run game, and 1-2 more WR's actually on the field. 🙏

The point is......stop screwin around with 22 sexual assault charges Watson and build around this kid. If he can do this with a rookie WR, Albert Wilson, Durham Smythe, Mack Hollins etc, I'm sure he could play well with some actual upgrades. I swear, DVP better show up soon so we can see both lined up plus Gesicki. I've given up on Will Fuller ever showing up. :{

Jaylen Waddle
Jaelen Philips
Jevon Holland

2021 Draft Class :hat :hat :hat

Well, 1-7, back to 7-7.

Now comes the hard part.

Winning at New Orleans on Monday Night
Winning at Tennessee on a short week, with Tenn comin in off a mini bye.
Winning vs New England

We could lose all 3 honestly, and then all the good faith will be wiped out again. Or we could go 1-2/2-1 and finish the season 8-9/9-8.

Winning all 3 would be a miracle, and mean 10-7, with a 9 game winning streak. :lol

Will Fuller. :{ 10 million to have like 4 catches for the season and miss damn near the whole thing over a finger. Dudes come back from ACL's faster than this bum.

Duke Johnson. :hat

We need Duke, Waddle, DVP, Gesicki, Lindsay to all be big vs the Saints, who just shut out Brady. This is going to be a very tough matchup.

On the good news front......

SF lost again, so while we won't get a Top 10 pick from them, a Top 15-18 should be in play.

Then we have their 2023 pick as well, along with.....

Possibly the most cap space in the NFL. :hat

Pay Ogbah, pay Gesicki and then spend money on OL + LB.

Then use draft capital to add developmental depth behind all that.

Sign, trade for, or draft a #1 RB.

Despite the 1-7 start, everything still proceeding as planned. Don't blow it up for Watson. Keep that mess elsewhere.

8-7. :hat

Defense was lights out vs New Orleans. Pick Six, 8 sacks, another INT to boot. Saints had zero 3rd down conversions.

Offensively, Waddle was awesome, run game poor, OLine terrible and Tua was solid minus 1-2 throws.

His INT, again, bad moment, but next drive goes 90+ for a TD. He always recovers.

He did miss a couple to Gaskin tho.

Waddle is breaking rookie numbers everywhere. He and Tua are sharp together. 10 more grabs tonight and should have had 11. Refs were trash. :{

Well, new year, end of the road. :(

Whole team was outclassed by Tennessee (without Henry) but Tua is taking the fall.

He played poorly for sure, but after playin Monday night, Tenn comin off the Thursday mini bye, bad weather, on the road, just too much to overcome. :{

Refs didn't help either. 17-3, Phins driving, non-call PI killed us and we never had a chance after that.

Now, after 7 straight wins and not a single loss since Halloween, everyone back on the need a QB train. :rolleyes

Need a W at home to try and gain at least a little redemption.

......

I mean.......we actually did beat New England, again, finished with a winning record, again, and yet, in true Dolphin form, the next day we fire our Head Coach. :lol

Brian Flores is out. After winning seasons back to back years. In fact, after starting out his career 0-7 (the Tanking 2019 season) he then proceeded to go 24-18. But it gets better.

Flores as a HC was 10-17 without Tua as the starting QB, and 14-8 WITH Tua as the starter.

But it wasn't cuz of Tua or any other QB, apparently it's a political thing, he and Grier didn't see eye to eye, and Ross pulled the trigger. (Maybe on the wrong one)

Depending on who they bring in, no idea if this is good or not, but interesting note. ALL of the defensive players have come out sad about Flores being gone. None of the offensive players have said much, in fact, DVP seems to be happy about it. That could be random, or it could be an example of the struggles he's had. Multiple OC's, multiple OLine coaches, the QB switching, etc.

So we'll see. Lot of he said/he said goin on right now, we'll see how the players truly react in the offseason and if any of them follow wherever he goes.

Well......Flores certainly had somethin to say..... :lol

NFL lawsuit should be fun.

Meanwhile, we have hired Mike McDaniel as the new Head Coach. Obviously to try and help the Offense. Hopefully he's not Adam Gase. 🙏

Ogbah back at 4/65 with 32G. :hat

So they have kept Ogbah, Gesicki (for 1 more year) and Needham.

Now they start shopping for actual Free Agents/Trades.

Chase Edmonds 2/12.6 with 6.1G.

Chase Edmonds 2/12.6 with 6.1G.

Now add WR Cedric Wilson for 3/22.8 12.75G

Then followed up with QB Teddy Bridgewater. 1 year deal. Backup money.

No more Brissett. :hat

So, the #3 pick last year has so far netted us:

Jaylen Waddle
Tyreek Hill
2023 SF 1st

Miami extended X for a new deal at 5 years 90 mil.

Then traded DVP and a 5th this year to the Patriots for a 3rd next year.

Miami just created cap space and added a better pick next year (in a deeper class)

Miami now has
Two 1sts
One 2nd
Two 3rds

8o

If Tua fails, they have capital to move up. If Tua succeeds, they have capital to add another group of talent, or trade the picks for another Tyreek type trade. (Elite OLineman, or Dlineman, etc)

And we still have cap space to make moves this off-season still. :hat
