Waiting a year would allow him to rebuild his brand as a coach and survey the field to see if better, more desirable offers might be out there. You see that a lot with coaches who get fired. They go work in the booth for a year or work as an analyst and then come back to being a head coach as opposed to taking the first job they're offered after getting fired
Sumlin had many of the same behind the scenes problems Sark did. He sort of had to strike and grab a new deal while he was still getting credit for the Manziel years.

Remember when he used interest from SC to get that huge extension from TAMU? Yikes.

Sumlin’s a fraud.

Frankly, its more surprising someone hired him immediately after everything that happened behind the scenes at A&M than it is to see him take another job immediately.

Surely this has to mean 9 tests just this week on top of their previous tests. Otherwise....yikes

“The Michigan Wolverines athletic department had nine student-athletes and four staff members test positive for COVID-19 this past week, the school announced Friday afternoon as part of its weekly update.
The Wolverines tested 2,798 individuals between Dec. 5-11 and received 13 total positive tests. The athletic department does not specify how many positive cases each individual program has.”

USC hosting the championship game at the Coli next week nako xl nako xl ?
Santa Clara won’t allow the game so either at the Coli or a non cali neutral site.

SC would have to have a higher ranked team than Colorado though because they’re gonna lose to UCLA today so it’s gonna go to the polls.
