Jimmy Lake?!
Aye. Black coach won and Oregon took another L. Either way it was a win win for me. Just wanted to come roast Paul and get my jokes off.
Think he regrets decommitting?

I took it to mean best players but not necessarily projected draft orderSlater over Sewell is a spicy *** take, even if your evaluating Slater as solely a G , and taking positional value out of the equation. Whatever technical flaws Sewell might have at this point, 6'6 330 pound guys that move like that , and can actually play, don't grown on trees.
"The athletes?" Yikes.
I guess we know Jay didn't watch "Cheer."
Yea, FSU may be done for the year. Wake is having Covid issues too so the ACC turned that into Duke-Miami.So FSU canceled their game with Duke already?
Yikes...
Especially since LSU has no passing game. He might as well leave and get ready for the draft as opposed to being a glorified offensive lineman. All he's doing is blocking downfield and getting passes thrown an this feet.Any player on a bad team minus well get a head start on draft prep...Securing the money more important than playing in some Papa Johns bowl in Shreveport
Burn it all down at LSU.

It's crazy what a difference a year makes. The parallels between Gene Chizik and Coach O are becoming more apparent. Both had all-time great, Heisman trophy winning QB's (Cam Newton and Joe Burrow) and great offensive coaches (Gus Malzahn and Joe Brady) who led their teams to unexpected heights. Auburn fans learned pretty early that Chizik wasn't a very good coach and benefited from Cam and Gus. The book is still out on Coach O, he still has an opportunity to turn things around. The sexual assault stories coming out definitely don't help his case though
Right. He won because of Burrow, Aranda, Brady, and a LOADED roster (of dudes that O had a hand in recruiting of course.)
I do think he's more of a figure head than an in-game coach, but he's proven he knows how to hire good assistants and he's the best recruiter in the country. He's also quick to pull the trigger and fire people so Pelini and Ensminger will be out after this year. The question is whether this season is going to cause him to start meddling on defense again and to revert to his comfort zone of 3 yards and a cloud of dust offense because the pass heavy one Brady brought in doesn't help those defenses.
All that said, the patience in LSU is very short and this season is just more confirmation bias for them that O wasn't responsible for that title.
