I wonder how many coaches picked up their phones “hey this is Sean marks how would you like the opportunity to coach kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant-“ and hung up

I wouldn’t hire Chauncey. He gives me Byron Scott vibes (Byron when he was the lakers coach that is).

Giannis will succeed when he’s put into an AD like situation where he can lean on Lebron.

I don’t see him going far with Middleton as his #2 and Bledsoe as his #3

This is real bad for Giannis probably going to be named MVP within the week and may already be home. Worst case scenario for MIL.

didn't dirk get his a week after losing in the first round to the we believe warriors? JJ Redick spoke to dirk on his old podcast, and it was a really good listen. Dirk touched on that series and his career.

Are you glad y'all got out the 1st rd or mad it gave MDA another year?

I think losing the series definitively meant MDA was out, but I don't think advancing past the first secures his next year anyways. I could easily see the team not renewing his deal no matter what happens short of winning it all which is extremely unlikely.

I also think that whoever they hire to replace MDA, short of Pop (I've heard this rumor float but I have no reason to believe Pop is coming here to work under Daryl or specifically Tilman because of his political affiliations) they'll stay with the small ball approach with minor tweaks. The biggest being, actually acquiring a true big, but only one who can viably stretch the floor. I've speculated that someone in the likes of Aron Baynes, Dario Saric, Nemanja Bjelica, Serge Ibaka, or Juancho Hernangomez who can help on the glass, not create instant paint mismatches, but also not clog the floor. With the overlap in Indiana, my pipe dream is to steal Myles Turner from them. It likely means Eric Gordon is getting traded to help acquire any of those targets.

I think pmatic pmatic posted the video, but in short, small ball works. The rockets just aren't tooled to optimize it because they rely on too many average to below average perimeter shooters. Unless people consider Daniel Theis as a traditional center, Boston is running a similar offensive lineup. Their closing lineups are a combination of Kemba, Smart, Brown, Hayward, Tatum, Theis. They just have multiple guys who can create after a catch whereas House, Covington, Gordon, and Tucker are more likely to be standstill shooters.

not a commentary on this upcoming series, but posting because the tweets linked in the video are actually hilarious  it really is a joke how small we've gone, but it's been done out of necessity because we couldn't find the floor spacing big I mentioned above for this season.

(can someone tell me what song is playing in the video?)

Nah son NBA needs to let all us healthy people into the bubble

This is going to be like the delayed effects of all those workers inhaling smoke during 9/11. It is going to be ugly a decade from now when all those long term effects start showing itself.

Police pulled my brother over on his bike on a bike road a minute ago. Gave him a warning. Can’t even bike while being black.

:smh:

bro. how sick is it that I read this and my first thought was, thank god he's alive? I think you've said you're in dallas right? If you don't mind sharing, which part? because I definitely know the police different in highland park than in desoto.

Maybe I'm letting his time as an analyst cloud me too much, but he did not inspire confidence in that role.
