Yikes, the wolves came out last night for Freak

Definitely think you can win with him as a no.1 but just need a better no.2 than Khris Middleton
I was just watching espn /Greeny, Legler and Fizdale discussing that tweet, the Bucks and Giannis’ shortcomings....

They basically agreed with what you said, Giannis can be the #1 but Bucks need a playmaker, someone who can get their own off the dribble, get to the hoop or score off midrange or 3....every team has that guy or multiple.

I’m thinking - they F’ed up , they needed Brogdon

Like you guys mentioned, the Bucks can win with Giannis as their #1, he just needs a #2 number two who can get his own shot. The ideal situation for Giannis would be being a 1a to go along with a 1b. Similar to Kobe and Shaq or LeBron and AD

Can we finally dispel this antiquated notion that Superstar players win "on their own?" Almost every championship team has two All-Star level players and often to all-NBA players. If the Bucks were to win this season they would probably have the worst #2 player on any championship team ever. Seriously, look at the second best player on championship teams for the last 30 years. Middleton would be near the bottom of that list.

Giannis can win as your first option but Milwaukee is too much of a small market team to put the right pieces around him. It doesn't have to be current all stars but he needs some gutsy vets around him. I look at it like the pieces Dirk had around him during the '11 championship run. Chandler, Marion, Kidd, Terry, those were players that weren't afraid of the moment. Eric Bledsoe? You not winning with bruh

Middleton's not a scrub and Giannis has a supporting cast as good as any other team-- he just has a few shortcomings as a #1 that can't shoot

Team Euro will be formed in Dallas - I’m really starting to believe this. If it happens......R.I.P. to all our teams.

Pre-bubble, this was the only combo I was thinking about when we talked of a future super team would be born out of the bubble. Luka/Giannis

Yep. In some ways, this was Lebron and Kyrie. Lebron was the best player in the game but in the halfcourt when you need a bucket who do you want with the ball....Not a perfect example because Lebron can be unstoppable too but his shot is unreliable.

Not excusing Giannis but Bledsoe ain’t it. Connaughton, divenchenzo are energy guys that can’t shoot. George hill is solid but can’t beat anyone off the bounce. Wes Matthews is power washed.

Y'all are really hyping up this one regular season game where the Lakers lost. "What happened the last time the Lakers played the small ball line-up, huh?"

It was literally the first game the Rockets started playing small ball so no one had seen it and a healthy Russell Westbrook dropped 40 and the Rockets shot 45% from 3. If the Rockets get consistent MVP level Russ and shoot 45% from 3, they might win but I don't see that happening. These Rockets aren't the same team, we have film on their small ball lineup and know how to attack it and that Russell Westbrook isn't walking through the door. Lakers in 5

I look forward to hearing the "bad matchup", "dangerous team" "they can push the Lakers" talk we heard with Portland though

I called this a couple weeks ago. Do it Giannis!

It’s absolutely possible too - Dallas can absolutely get it done. Plus you know Giannis loves playing with his European dudes more. He’s barely friends with any American NBA players.

Imagine a EURO NBA Superteam - alotttt of people would be in their feelings about it. All this Giannis to the Warriors talk, nah, I don’t see that at all.

His cast is just about as good as any team in the league tho,

I've probably been as vocal/supportive of the Laker guards' defensive impact as anyone here, but I don't think they can defend a moderately healthy Westbrook.

I just hope Vogel isn't asleep at the wheel like Donovan was.
