Crazy story I remember hearing on Jim Rome a while back. John Thompson was supposed to fly to the jim rome show on 9/11 but it got rescheduled. He was booked to be on one of those planes that was hijacked.

The crazy part is that a healthy Hayward can very easily be your forth 20pt scorer and the best player on the fall for certain stretches. If he can go back to what he was pre injury. Wow.

I said this before and I'll say it again. These dudes might have hands and previously washed folks but they are not getting into a serious fight on the basketball court. Same goes for their interactions with the hot take artists.
Not calling anyone sweet or soft but they have too much on the line for all that. Especially the "stars".

Kemba fits so much better than kyrie on that roster. I love Kyrie's game but he needs the ball a lot to get into the flow of the game which didn't work great with Brad Stevens' fluid offense. Kemba goes a few plays in a row sometimes where he lets the offense flow throw Tatum or Brown and spots up for a 3 with no issue

Yeah Kemba came out several times and basically said he wants to be a co-pilot to the J's. Kyrie wanted to be the dude. That was the main disconnect.

yea Hayward can create on his own right as well and can put up 20, but realistically will probably be around 15-17ppg as long as we have the Jays and Kemba. Just not enough touches but a good luxury to have another shot creator in the lineup
