Obviously, if they shoot 40% from three for an entire series, they can beat anyone in the league. I just don't see it happening.

I do think that their small ball lineup might be effective against Anthony Davis though. Anthony Davis thrives when he plays against bigger slower guys. He can just out maneuver and out skill those guys. He struggles against smaller, more scrappy defenders.

In a series against the Rockets, I would anticipate the Lakers would start LeBron at the 4 and AD at the 5 and just surround them with shooters

I can see them doing it for sure...however that doesn’t mean I think they will. I think it would be an interesting series. Of course I’m hoping it’s OKC not Houston lol

I won’t go that far. Russ missed most of the series and him and Harden were crushing and gelling perfectly before season got cancelled. They do need to change it up though. Maybe move on from MDA and become a little less reliant on 3s. They need to try a different approach.
