Man fire Chris Webber. ****in sucks man

He's a great studio guy because that setting allows him to gather his thoughts and deliver detailed and lengthy analysis. But, the man cannot think on his feet and provide rapid-fire analysis.

Meanwhile, I think Reggie has actually done a decent job in the bubble. Seems like not having fans has made him tone things down a bit.

I enjoy Webber.

I've always enjoyed him during Summer League sessions and that is basically what I am viewing this Bubble Brand of basketball.

Summer league doesn't really have true play-by-play and color analysis. Hell, half the game they're interviewing some GM, exec or head coach. Webber can just yammer on all day.

I got you but I guess because I am not viewing Bubble Basketball as I would typically view high-stress NBA PLayoff basketball, I am fine with a more lax presentation for now.

thats not the point if Bron was on the Cavs and they was playing the Magic u think they would be playing at that time?

Yea actually. Bron wasn't getting the nighttime slots for those early round games either especially on a weekend.

Both of those were Sunday games and that timeslot is usually the primetime game
For Sunday games. Assuming those are EST

I’m not talking about past time slots when the NBA is normal, I’m talking about now in the present bubble format that every team is playing in.

There's always 4 games on each weekend (Sat & Sunday) to begin the playoffs. Eastern teams usually get the early start. Time slots are different with the bubble since all the games are in the same place.

As good as Giannis is, he's never going to supplant a Laker playoff game for any slot especially in the early rounds.

This reminds me: the stories about how NBA ratings are in the toilet are atrocious. They're literally comparing Saturday night, prime time playoff games in April to Wednesday afternoon bubble games.

Yep. That is the "prime time" slot in the playoffs. 3:30 on ABC. always has been, going back to the famous NBC triple headers.

The NBC reference was more for regular season, but my point still stands. That's the most coveted time slot.

Eastern Conference 1 v 8: Giannis (reigning MVP) vs A Bummy ORL Squad where the average fan can MAYBE only name two players

Western Conference 4 v 5: Jim Harden and Russell Westbrook (two former MVPs) vs Chris Paul and Co with the storyline of Russ and CP battling former teams

Western Conference 1 v 8: The face of the NBA vs The G8SOAT (two PST teams)

The games are in the correct time slots.
