Some players have stipulations in their contracts that they make more money if they make an All NBA team. It didn't happen in this case, but it could potentially cost a player millions of dollars if voters get it wrong. So it's important that the voters take it seriously.
Idk what her process was, but it seems like she just went off the top of her head and winged it. I think that's the only way someone like AD could fall through the cracks. We have more data available than ever before, I think it's important to look at that, plus of course take into consideration what they've seen from watching games all year. But if she just looked at any list of the top 35-40 players in any of the various metrics that are out there, there's no way she could've forgotten about AD.

That **** only matters for “narratives.” AD’s a max player, so are most guys even in legit consideration for the an all nba team. Everybody with a vote is bias.
