wholly agree, but it is what it is at this point.
Russ and Harden combined for 63 points on 24/47 and 9/9 from the line. AD and Bron combined for 62 points on 22/36 and 14/21 from the line. Virtually a wash.
the difference tonight was Kuzma and Rondo putting up 35 on 15/21 while Gordon, Tucker, Covington, and Green had 39 on 14/30.

The game was tied at the end of 3. Harden gets inserted back into the game and his team is down 4 points. Far from a hole or insurmountable lead. In the next 8 and a minutes he hits 1 free throw. He has to be held accountable for that. Inexcusable for the greatest scorer of his generation.
Asking a all-time great to climb out a 4pt hole is too much.

Harden can be more aggressive especially in the 4th but if your team can’t beat 4vs3 when the pass is made that’s the bigger issue.

He's seriously doing his talent and size a disservice because when the games matter and you're playing great teams who will sell out on you in the playoffs, it becomes so hard to manufacture shots playing PnR 30 ft from the basket, and it's much easier to get the ball out of his hands.
Play out of the mid post, pinch post, pull ups, etc. you're 6'5 230 man.
It's no wonder why he got his MVP and almost made the finals w/CP3 who because he was an actual elite PG got him off the ball more and diversified Houston's attack. Sucks that pairing didn't work out.

This entire System & Roster were put together to maximize his Game but suddenly it's any & everyones fault but his it's exhausting.
Also for the AD is taking to many fadeaways crowd..... dude is catching the ball everytime with a 6'6 dude on him, bumping the defender off their spot & creating wide open shots for himself.... IDK why people are acting as if the majority are heavily contested or something

I don't even have a problem with Harden not shooting over double teams.
It's the disinterest that he shows for me. Once he gives the ball up, he's done with the possession and just stands around.
No urgency, or off ball movement. He only operates through plan A & if that doesn't work he can't operate.
With this limited roster, it's nearly impossible, but this is what he wanted when he got rid of CP3. Deal with it.
Edit- I've BEEN done with Harden. You can pull my post from last year when KD went down. It's who he is, and he isn't changing.
I'll praise him during the regular season, but when it matters, I can't trust him.
