OFFICIAL 2020 - 2021 AIR MAX 95 THREAD

Seems like Us older heads are the only ones keeping Nike in business right now lol

It’s a great time to be a fan of Nike

Nike is making the sneaker world feel like the early - mid 2000’s for me…It was always a very niche hobby that most people didn’t click with anyways…Now that people who were never really here for the shoes are clearing out, it’s definitely sending me on a nostalgia trip…Getting mostly everything you want at retail, and preferably on discount, is how this hobby existed for a ton of people for a very long time…The resell culture just twisted things to an unbelievable degree…

There’s a few things coming up that will really test the sneaker world waters for Nike…Black / Red ‘85 1’s for $250, and what was once a unicorn, the UNDFTD 4’s for example…Nike has flatlined in innovation and the Michael Jordan name isn’t able to prop the brand up to where they’ve become accustomed to being over the past handful of years…Hell, Travis Scott is the only name keeping Nike relevant among the non-sneakerhead crowd these days and even those shoes are starting to slide…If drops like the ‘85 1’s and UNDFTD 4’s don’t land then we’re looking at a totally different Nike after 2026…

As it is, we have to just enjoy drops like this while we can because who knows how Nike is going to react…At the very least we can probably expect them to drastically cut production numbers to try and get that hype back but who knows what else they have planned…

Slept in lol. I will give it my all on the SNKRS release.

You never know what to expect these days, but I am surprised these are sitting.

Maybe heads don't realize they released on Stash's site?

Or maybe just the kids have no idea who Stash is....which is probably the case.

Not for nothing but Nike spent decades relying on nostalgia to do the heavy lifting on profits…Meanwhile they didn’t build any new nostalgia during that time, outside of the sneakerheads who’ve been around long term…There’s a disconnect between Nike and the prime (non-sneakerheads obviously) buyers right now and it’s arguable that’s where it started…
