Anybody else remember when brett brown refused to play korkmaz and continue playing Saric. And then decline Korkmaz option? Yeah I member
Because Korkmaz defense wasn't all that great. Sure he's looked good now but lets not have tunnel vision on his small sample size. If he's consistent for a while then good. I'm not holding my breath.

As long as Fultz will continue to take the 10-15 ft jumper of the PnR. He'll be fine. Offense remains crisp when he's running point.

Jimmy looking good so far for someone who hasn't learned all the plays.

Fultz has 4 responsibilities when he’s on the court:

1. Bring the ball up past half court
2. Immediately pass off to the guy trailing you (who also inbounded you the ball)
3. Stand in the corner
4. Foul line jump shots off PnR

Anybody here
I respect their status.

But Nobody on NT saw Bill Russell play a lot of basketball.

People here are just familiar with his resume.
U can say the same about
Wilt
Kareem
Magic
Larry
And some dudes only saw MJ for 3-5 years
depending on the age

Lmao true but he does it well lol

He did have the one possession when he took Grant to the post and hit the turnaround.

"Sandy Koufax is the goat pitcher."

I never saw him pitch an inning though.

"Ty Cobb was a BEAST!"

Never saw an at bat of his though.

If that doesn't sound silly to you I don't know what else to say.

Keep touting the merits of players you've never seen. You're just parroting things you've heard.

Even with all the L's the Wizards have racked up this year, Wall has played pretty well.

Where that KAT video with the kitten with his chest out “when Jimmy leaves and he’s the new captain”

Ali is the GOAT

How many fights was u Alive for?

There's enough footage and information of players in the past to be able to form a concise enough opinion of them
True, but that is only PART of the evaluation process.

But when compared to LIVING through current players, the players of the past already start at a disadvantage when we are forming opinions on them.

At some point, there won’t be a soul on earth that saw MJ play. When that time comes, should he just never be mentioned as one of the greats? Never be ranked?

I get what’s being said about not ranking players you’ve never seen, but at the same time you cant just exclude guys beecause they were before your time.

Hope you aren't religious with this logic

Not sure why yall are ignoring the idea of a person saying, "I won't SPEAK/RANK players I didn't experience."

Someone can say THAT without them "excluding" certain folks. They are giving a conditional answer to the question with the preface, "Of those I have seen,"

George Mikan's rookie season.

Boy would kill Shaq in the paint.

You can definitely exclude them from your personal list in favor of speaking on players that you actually saw play.

Everyone's top 10 is different.

Fun to debate and all of that.

But I don't want to entertain a debate with someone who touts the merits of a player that they never saw.

What's so hard to accept about that?
