Not trying to be a jerk, but what are supposed to SAY/TYPE after Steph goes off WHILE still hurting?

I see this argument often, but I never know what folks expect others to say.

As if you CAN'T have great games (as a HOF talent) while you are hurt.

Having a great game doesn't mean you aren't still suffering.
Because nobody said anything about his injury until they were using it as an excuse for his poor play.
Just like Bron didn’t pop up with that brace until after the Cavs got swept.

Klay and Draymond are two NBA Allstars that do all the dirty work defensively for their teams then have to watch two soft players get all the attention and money. Everyone talking KD Leaving but the question is would you rather have KD stay and lose Klay/Green?

Yep. I would. Klay is not going no where though. Dray can go

But again, what are folks SUPPOSED to say after Steph kills during a suffering period?

That is where my confusion lies.

I don't see how/why him having SOME good games eliminates the idea of folks being able to make the claim that he is hurt.

LOL
OK BRO
I said RECENT success BRO
I didn't bring up the MLB bro
I said the sun is setting on the dubs recent run bro, meaning after this it's over.
you bringing up those 90's niners trophies?? LOL I said recent bro.

The premise of your statement was the Bay Area isnt used to winning. Why does the fact that the Niner titles havent been recent mean that the Bay Area fans dont know how to handle winning?

And I know you didnt bring up the MLB.....because it hurts your "argument."

Fans of the Giants and Warriors have experienced 6 titles in the last 8 years. I would say that we are used to winning. But thanks.

Because his poor performance probably had less to do with his injury and more to do with him just playing bad.

Retaliation = Hate Crime vs. The Disabled.

buc em buc em , where is the BMX info coming from?

I’ve heard it from multiple sources in the undergrounds of the web :lol

Heard he damaged one of the nerves in his shoulder riding a bike. Could be BMX, could be a dirt bike, could be a motorcycle, could be a damn tricycle. But I’ve read him say in interviews before he got drafted he liked to ride BMX so I’m rolling with that.

Pretty funny stuff during the Rockets/Nuggets game, there were stretches where Jokic would get matched up on Harden in the post, and instead of just shooting over him, he'd turn into LMA and either do a fadeaway jumper (bricking), or would pump fake and pass it to someone on the perimeter :lol :lol

That's all well and good but Every. Single. Bad game he had dudes used the injury excuse like it was impossible for him to have bad games.

Nah, it don't work like that.

How can you even measure something like that man

That is the thing with these speculative statements.

We KNOW Steph is (was) recovering from a semi-serious injury.

That is all we knew.

To ACT like that isn't the case simply because he played well and thus disqualifying the validity of the injury for future performances is just wildly illogical.

DCAllAfrican DCAllAfrican

Rumor is that he hurt his shoulder before the draft. Some say because of the BMX biking. Others say because of weightlifting and stuff

Wasn’t in any pain but his jumper was affected. Tried to play through it and got shut down. No one knew the cause until one doctor said scapular imbalance. Nerve damage to the shoulder that affects lifting the arm. Some things you can do (layups and dunks). Some things you can’t (stationary jumper). Only real solution is playing through it to build muscle memory. Depending on how bad it is, could take months to years

Bay area fans are delusional because they aren't used to this type of success, it's been a minute with NFL and the sun is already setting on this championship run that literally nobody outside of their fan base respects or even talks about.

this what I said and again the MLB wasn't brought up because it's a basketball thread, you just keep pushing for it.
at the end of the day. The dubs will go away for awhile after this, with a new stadium that they overcharge their fans for, and a player who won't be with them much longer touring it and looking pretty in pictures.

They are a place holder champ, until the lakers or celtics get back or even the spurs.
my point is that after this they will go away for a long time, without really being remembered or respected for what they did, not by me, but by their peers.
Only thing guaranteed is Kerr will have a job forever with the organization.

I disagree bro lol
I just feel like Steph is the only dude that excuses are consistently made for whenever he plays bad.
It’s okay for superstars to have bad games... there doesn’t need to be an excuse for it whenever it happens

Fultz is gonna need to have surgery if he ever wants to have a career. I think thats the problem. He never had surgery on that shoulder and its bothering his form. Why the Sixers font shut him own for the season so he can rehabilitate is beyond me. Cause the way he's playing isnt helping the team.

Also regarding Jimmy, nobody should be suprised if it doesnt work out. I just cant see him gelling well with Embiid and Simmons. He's gonna want to be the #1 option and Joel not having that.

So to a certain extent it can be fixed?

I don't assume anything, your post literally made no sense, I didn't bring up their winning record in November, I'm bringing up the obvious fallout from this one dumb loss, that they blew out of proportion on all fronts.
Like most bay area fans you are focusing on something I'm not even questioning, which is their skill level, those dudes can ball no doubt, when it comes to being strong dominant personalities, we should look towards their wives and moms.

please try again

you guys are literally so desperate for respect you can't even read.
It's literally ok to admit that your players are beta boys but can ball, it's totally ok to do that guys. they some BA, but they got game on the court.

Nobody cares about respect from a dude who posts on a sneaker message board:lol:
