KD a necessary evil though. He allows Steph to play his optimal role as Robin to KD’s Batman. Puts them over the top.
The players may not love him, but they know they can’t just rely on the opposing teams always being hurt in the playoffs either.

Nah the Dubs just know they're screwed if KD goes. (Especially if he teams up with someone in LA w/the Clips or the Lakers)
W/o KD, They're capped out, old, and a steph injury away from looking Larry Holmes like. That's why IMO the Dubs are coming down so hard on Draymond. Losing KD would really hurt.
