Welp, there’s the death sentence for the Blazers, getting props from Charles Barkley.
And I’ve called the Blazers “Wizards West” for maybe 3 years now. The current 6-2 and 1-6 records will even themselves out come towards the end of the season

I was reading just now about how referrees this year are instructed to call physical defense away from the ball more strictly. This means teams that are really good at moving without the ball, like GS, are just going to have that much more of an advantage.

100% rule change to make GSW even tougher. NBA loves having an Evil Empire for casuals to slurp over and serious fans to detest.
Makes for an ugly game with all these whistles for incidental/inconsequential contact.
The scoring has been beyond ridiculous thus far. They’re gonna need to move the 3pt line back or raise the hoop lol because 3/4 of the teams play All-Star-Game-level defense.

See: Rockets. It directly impacted them with all their switching. Can’t speak on the last two games, but they’ve been called for an irrational amount of fouls simply by rotating.

And I personally don’t like it. I rather have a happy medium where you have teams scoring high, but with some form of defense being played. But hey, the paying customer doesn’t seem to mind so eh...
I was watching the ‘98 Finals, and both the Jazz and Bulls scored less than 100, yet you didn’t notice due to the tempo and intensity of the game.

Simmons is becoming way too predictable and Fultz is Fultz.

Not to mention he really cut his turnover rate which was his biggest weakness last year. That and better stamina and they both seem to be resolved.

You’re 100% correct, it’s just him and Redick. Until we get a major piece this team is basically the Blake Griffin Clippers. Peak is WCF until we get another major piece who can score at a high level.
If we can move Dario, Covington and a couple firsts for Jimmy we should have done that yesterday.

Well, fultz can also get to the rim, which J.J., belly and sova etc could not do. Simmons needs a shooter who can create
