Jimmy Buck$ knows he isn't going anywhere with a team that has a 200m WIggins Contract with a KAT extension coming.

They got to trade Jimmy Butler. Everytime he doesn't play Kat looks a lot better. He even plays harder defense when Jimmy is not there lmao

Eh... off the top of my head here's list of guys Steph (2 Rings, 2 MVP's) has already passed up if his career ended tonight against the Pelicans:

Isaiah Thomas (2 Rings,0 MVP's)
John Stockton (0 Rings, 0 MVP's)
Gary Payton (DPOY, 1 Ring as a coattail rider past his prime, 0 MVP's)
Steve Nash (0 Rings, 2 MVP)
Jason Kidd (1 Ring, Robbed of MVP several seasons and the fact that he doesn't have any MVP's makes Nash's 2 look super fraudulent)
Chris Paul (0 Rings, probably deserved 2008 MVP)

Interestingly, maybe 2 of those guys crack the all-time top 10.

I don't think any of these guys mentioned crack the top 10 so steph passing these guys still doesn't make him top 10 all time to me. I will say that the steph top 10 all time argument has legs, but its early. He's still in his prime.

Hypothetically, If he spends the rest of his career hurt, first round exits, etc. that would affect his legacy I think. And that's why I'm now a bit more hesitant w/guys who are still playing, let alone guys who are still in their prime. Most would say that LBJ is still in his prime, if the Lakers don't make the playoffs this year, that will matter towards his legacy for example.

Agree, but to me there’s not dispute any more that he’s the greatest shooter ever. He has no weaknesses when it comes to outside shooting. Long-range, mid-range, FT, off the catch or off the bounce - he’s exceptional in all respects. There’s never been anyone else exactly like that.

Greatest shooter ever is a bit more concrete. Like we can tangibly look at shooting records, shooting efficiency and volume, along w/the eye test and see that he's the greatest shooter ever. That's done with.

Top 10 all time though, there's a lot of things that could change from now until the end of his career. That being said, he's definitely making his way towards that with his career arc.

No, I get why you'd be hesitant.

Assuming health though, at the rate he's passed up these hall of famers...he's cracking that top 10. It's a matter of when.

I have a feeling buyer’s remorse will set in with Rockets fans over the CP3 contract a bit before it’s over...
