i usually don't agree with broussard but he made a lot of sense here..lebron bit more than he can chew.

unlike in cleveland where he has 2 all star players that can carry the load on the court and emotionally, he doesn't have that player in los angeles. and unlike in the east where he can flip the switch, he can't dominate the west.

I mean, he was a 20PPG scorer on 49/37 splits 2 seasons ago as a 21 year old. Offensively he's been fine this season. Defensively, he's sucked. For a team of a bunch of young guys with no expectations like the Bulls, it was low risk-high reward gamble. If he doesn't improve at all, they can just let him go next summer.

I'm not arguing the signing wasn't worth it. I agree it was worth a try. Just that he isn't good and he wasn't likely to be good when they signed him last year. I argued back then that the limited window at which he had the 20ppg at his very best wasn't enough to offset his limitations everywhere else on the court, and wasn't really enough points for a guy who only scores.

Anyways he and Wiggins have really turned out to be the Jameis and Mariota of the NBA.
