The Knicks scouting team put an interesting team together this season. Roster is full of once elite prospects/failed lottery picks on their 2nd chance. Good strategy to find a diamond in the rough while tanking.

On the hunt, yes, but they were realistically on the outside looking in. I think by the time the fire sale happened, Dallas was 6 or 7 games below .500 after ~50 games. Even with DJ, dsj and hb, i doubt the mavs wouldve made the playoffs.
