You aint lying :hat. The slim joints are fun because they're so easy to manhandle. I legit be picking them up out the passenger seat and tossing them to the back :lol. But big p is on a whole nother tier. The only thing wetter than water is chubby cheeks. No cap!!

The Zion hype has grown exponentially from being the most featured player on ESPN every week. Can't deny the benefit there. They were hyping that Duke UNC game up more than they even typically do. But I agree with everything.
Ppl forget that prior to the Duke season RJ Barrett was considered the number one pick on a lot of draft projections.

It wasn't until he started balling out game after game after game on the ncaa level that his hype grew, and he became the unanimous number one pick

At this point, if he were to not play another game for Duke again, he can still be the number one pick. But if he had never played a single Duke game..who knows where he would've landed on that board

Nobody forgot anything  RJ and Zion were right there together. I would guess scouts would be able to figure out what’s what even if Zion took an entire year off

Plus if Zion played elsewhere they’d have even more to evaluate

“Who knows where he would have landed”

ncaa needs to be dismantled
I feel like you guys are looking at it through the lens of superstar college players.

Sure superstars don't necessarily need the ncaa

But unless there is an alternative system in place in America that can showcase young talent, the lower tier players need the ncaa to get drafted.

Of course, but it shouldn’t be through the corrupt NCAA. There isn’t an easy answer but it’s easy to say the ncaa is awful

Great point by Cousins. How much of the ticket money goes to the highlight player, Zion? This is why NBA players should could continue to fight for their rights as well. Call your own shots, demand your freedom.

Ncaa is the only answer. They're handing thousands of players over the course of the season. An organization like the nba G league or whatever you call it can only handle hundreds of players at a time to be evaluated.

There is literally no other system in place that handle a huge volume of players

It's also easy to say that the ncaa is evil but not every player that plays d1 basketball is going to be good enough for the nba...some of them will need an actual college education and they get a chance at that

That’s a fair point, and we should also keep in mind there are many other college sports besides football, basketball and baseball. A lot of kids to get some or all of their college paid for by playing sports that don’t have professional leagues in the US.

While I think the NCAA is terrible, I think it makes sense to have some kind of governing body over all those sports.

To be fair, I do think a lot of pre-season mocks had Zion in like the 5-10 range.
I would like to see those, I thought I remembered it being the duke 3 as the top 3 even before the duke Canada trip which vaulted all of them (maybe bol bol was ahead?)

Who was ahead of Zion to where he’d be 10?

Yea don't remember this at all. It was either him or Barrett number 1.

Steph better than Nash at every facet of the game. Put curry in front of that 7 seconds sun team with dantoni, 2 chips minimum.
