wow I'm very surprised yet proud of this thread for telling it how it is regarding Kobe.

His stans usually flood this forum but glad to see level headed fans of basketball begin to understand his place and level.

Kobe is great dont get me wrong, but as consistent as he was, he was never the best on his team (maybe 1-2 seasons can be argued).

Larry Bird coming along 10 years later would have been interesting. He's pretty widely considered the best shooter of his generation, but was only attempting 2 3s a game. Imagine if he got to shoot around 6 per game in the 90s like Reggie was. More modern physical training would have done wonders for him as well.
