PG or Giannis gotta be leading MVP IMO (kawhi would be there too but the games missed hurts his case). But Both of those dudes are having Great Offensive seasons, our the CORE's of their teams defense & both have taken teams that didn't have much Roster changes to absolutely new heights this season.

Also Since Russ gets all the blame for players when they don't improve with him, does he get any credit for PG having BY FAR his best season ever, while playing with the triple double chasing, selfish PG who doesn't care about winning . Any credit for Grant looking like a pretty Good Starter, Scroder being a very good sixth man or we just gonna sit on the narrative

Adams also having a career year. Ferguson has improved a ton

I'm pretty sure he wasn't 100% in the 2001 all-star weekend so he decided just to play in the all-star game. And to those saying he didn't have much else to show, I remember Shaq saying VC said he was gonna do a 720

. And in a interview in 2004 or something I remember Carter said he wanted to do it again, because there were still some dunks he had that no one had done. But i don't know why he didn't participate.

EDIT: found a media link from 2004: http://www.nba.com/media/raptors/Jan13-Vince.mp3 & a quote from the North Jersey Media Group's AL IANNAZZONE from 2005:

"Carter would consider competing in the NBA Slam Dunk contest if he's at least "90 percent" healthy." I guess he wasn't

By far the best NBA dunk contest I've watched live (on tv that is). Stevie Franchise had some nice dunks too. Probably one other underrated contest after that is the one with JRich and D Mason. Rich did that off the bounce dunk where he went through the legs and reversed it.
