And this situation is different because the Lakers are more than likely actually going to offer up the assets necessary, which they weren't willing to do in the case of PG (BI+ no 2 pick) and Kawhi (BI/Kuz/Hart + 2 picks).

If that's the baseline that the Pels are interested in, it's no problem cause LA is willing to play ball this time unlike before.
