Not sure. I know when he committed to SC the first time the talk was English dropped the ball so they switched Warren onto him. He's a corner so Warren would have been his position coach too.
There's also a strong argument that Ronnie Bradford, Bubba Bolden, and Pac12 refs landed Steele for Florida more than anything they did.
The Florida players seem to feel some type of way about it, understandably:

Yeah, I saw it on social media that of lot of gator players and fans were in their feelings about Georgia getting, more so than I see for most position coaches. I'm guessing that's a good thing.

UF will be fine.
Warren was there 1 year. He moves around a lot. Nebraska, Vols, UF all 1 year.
Corners werent impressive this year. CJ Henderson looked better as a freshman.

Rich Scangarello turned down the SC coordinator for the OC gig with the Broncos. Would have been a nice replacement for Kliff.

Yea, I think the players were just salty he left for a rival who had Kair Elam on campus more than anything. Not a huge loss coaching or recruiting wise.

theres reports coming out all over the place Today Demond Demas has a really bad trip to Texas because Herman spent the whole day Saturday dumping on the SEC and A&M and repeatedly calling out Demas in front of groups of visitors for being committed to TAMU.Scum bag.
All their outlets are reporting the visit wasn’t good except your friend EJ who says it’s all fake news drama.

I love reading EJ Holland’s stuff. I’ve seen writers who are clearly on the payroll of teams they cover but he’s the absolute worst.

He managed to turn DeGabriel Floyd against SC after they went against their word and took 6 LBs last class.
It feels like Herman's/his strategy for getting a foothold in west coast recruiting has been to just **** on USC every chance they get.
Because I followed the Floyd, Jake Smith, Chris Steele, and Bru McCoy recruitments so closely it left me feeling like the Texas 247 site is just state sponsored propaganda. According to them both Steele and Bru are Longhorns right now.

If you listen to EJ, they're still working so hard on DeMarvin Leal's mom and he's close to flipping, even though he's already signed. EJ has been pushing that ******** narrative for 6 months even though Leal has never even thought about flipping.
