I get only offering 1 year deals to be players in next year's FA class, but 4 years for lance is insane. 9 Million for Rondo is insaneee. Having Javale as your STARTING 5 man is insane.

We've seen how this plays out every single time. He will more than likely be a shell of himself. Don't go after Cousins because of the name knowing he's not going to be nearly the player he was.

The lance deal was 1 year 4 mil. Honestly, that wasnt a bad signing. KCP and Rondo were head scratchers though

There wasn't another team in the NBA paying 4 Million for Lance. Vet Minimum maybe?

And even so, the big issue w/the lance signing is committing to Lance on July 1. Playing with the Lakers and LBJ has value. Committing to someone like Lance (Or Javale, KCP, Rondo) this early in FA is wild. No need to reach for these kinds of guys on July 2nd(!)
