That nastiness isn’t gonna help Jansen in the 9th
Don’t matter what starting pitching they get, that bullpen is what needs the most help.
Most playoff games come down to 1-2 runs. You really gonna trust Jansen in the 9th with a 1 run lead? Or bonehead Roberts putting him in for a 6 out save only up by 1?

I'm thinking Maeda and Urias will be in the pen as well and if Jansen is blowing it in the 9th, that's on the staff to not keep sending him out there in those situations. There's no rule that says Maeda/Urias can't be used to close games, at this point I don't care for Jansen's pride because LA needs to win the damn thing. Trading top prospects for players as volatile as relief pitchers never made sense to me, see the Mets and them offloading Kelenic for Edwin Diaz, who was amazing last year and not so great this year. I'd rather take a cheap plus starter that has some control than a dominant relief pitcher, who may or may not have it in October when it matters.
End of the day, I'm good with them not offering Lux. If they're not able to do anything major without moving Lux then so be it.
