I can also see the Mariners biting on a potential Verdugo, Matt Kemp (Dodgers eating remaining $), and another top 20 prospect for Diaz.

Puig has good trade value right now. Going into a contract year, he might blow up. But he’ll get traded again at the deadline if he goes to Cleveland

, this is just a front by the front office. Why would they want to drop that bread for Harper when they can package Verdugo, Kemp, and and a lower end prospect for someone like Mitch Haniger from Seattle, who has years of control and will cost less?

Yall might be right. Wouldn't be surprised if we just pick up a starting catcher and some bullpens arms next week. Have Seager replace Manny's numbers and go for 3 straight NL crowns

I'm hearing Realmuto would take a Big Leaguer (Puig), Verdugo, AND Ruiz/Smith before they even consider. If that's the case, I'm good...

For a pitcher like Kluber or Bauer even, I’d be good with it. But for a catcher? I understand Realmuto is good but 2 top 5 prospects, Puig, and another lower end prospect for Realmuto is a no-go IMO.

That's about 10 games (30-40 at bats) less of Goldschmidt to be nervous about a year now. That trade was under wraps until it happened though, very impressive. Wonder what the Dodgers' FO will cook up.
