I don’t think this injury makes him any cheaper. I’m sure he’ll still get offered as a two way player

If anything, LA may have less competitors to sign him as most team likely have become more hesitant with the UCL stuff. Friedman hasn’t ever been hesitant to sign players he believes in, despite injury histories. Still think the usual suspects of LA, SF, SD, and SEA will be in the ballpark of $500M still.

Don’t you think the Dodgers would be less likely to sign bc they need pitching and now he’s most likely not pitching till 2025? Regardless what a bummer for Ohtani you hate to see that happen.
