Replacing White would be for Util/backup Belt who is my main 1B.

And what do ya think about my Cody Anderson dilema a few posts up? ^

I also value White's 1B/3B position versatility, but I'd rather own Carter's power numbers. Yeah, his BA will continue to be putrid but he's an easy 25-30 HR per season.

What about Anderson, dropping him? He's been awful his last 3 starts for the Tribe.

Rather Carter over a guy like Brandon Moss? Or even Jaso?

And Anderson is my only closer :x and my only other RP is Betances. So I'm relying on Anderson to get me saves and yeah, that's not panning out. Was thinking of using Stroman or Iglesias as trade bait for a top closer but IDK if it that's a rash decision.

Ah, you meant Cody Allen. Confused me for a sec. Keep Stroman and Iglesias for now. Allen has a long leash, 58 saves the last two years for Cleveland. He's got 2 losses already this season but there's only really Bryan Shaw pushing him for the closer gig, and he's not pitching well either. I mean Shaw has allowed 10 ER already in just over 7 innings of work.

Be patient with Betances. He's been disgusting minus that solo shot to Nicholas. Miller is throwing hurt and who knows what condition Chapman will return in.

Jaso's working out well as a leadoff hitter in Pittsburgh, good instincts and disciplined at the plate. But he doesn't steal bases, never cranked 10+ HR in a season, and he's already 32. Moss has struggled with Cleveland and STL. His last good season was 2014 with Oakland.

Kang on his way back too, just something to watch.

Agree about Kang. He should've been stashed from the beginning of the season on the DL.

Jeffress over Colome. With Smith's knee injury, there's no immediate challenge to Jeffress and he's filled in fairly well thus far for Milwaukee. Colome isn't a bad second option with Boxberger out 6+ weeks and Farquhar was down in the minors a bit to make room for Snell.

If you want to forecast, other bullpen arms I'm monitoring for future save opportunities: Dyson, Zych/Vincent, Strickland, Quackenbush, Hinojosa/Neris, Doolittle, May, Cotham/Cingrani.

Can you drop someone else? Allen is 93% owned on Yahoo, another manager will certainly add him. Blazek has pitched well enough in Milwaukee to wonder if he could push Jeffress for the closer role at some point.

I'm in last place for saves in my league so I just went ahead and scooped Alex Colome. Have been rolling with Jeurys Familia and Luke Gregerson but the opportunities just haven't been there for them (more so Gregerson). I guess every little bit can help :\.

Yeah dropping was never my intention. If anything I wanted to try and trade him or hold him and trade a starter for another closer.

Little tip on these scoring settings, you just need guys who will give you positive points. It's all about pitching and quantity of pitchers.
