Does it matter? Both tandems are taking up valuable cap space and don't figure to be in the team's future plans at all.

I really doubt a superstar free agent is going to come to Sac, the West is still stacked so the Kings are still in the lottery and how many rookies transcends a team to the playoffs? besides Lebron. Rookies take a couple of years to develop and hopefully when Hield, Fox, Skal, and Bogdan get some more experience/develop then the Kings will be ready to make a major splash. (And the warriors and other top teams in the West start to fall off )

The Kings are not locked in to THAT much money, they aren't shooting themselves in the foot imo, these are relatively short term deals.

Again, 23 is greater than 20. Not sure whats hard to understand in that. He's playing along side great young talent who will find him open looks. Veteran long range specialists are always needed. His career will be extended. Great move by JJ. We're not going by your hypothetical contracts that were never offered.

you realize NBa deals are guaranteed, right? Right? I'm not so sure you do.

But ok, keep believing JJ is happy he got a 1 year deal and not 3 year deal.

What are they gonna do with all these SF though. Jaylen and Tatums growth is gonna be severely stunted. Only way this deal makes sense is if they move Jae Crowder and one of the other two for someone else throughout the season.

Tatum and Brown will be the bash brothers off the bench. Lethal potential there

I'd trade Jaylen quick. I don't think he's as great as some here like to say. Maybe he's being showcased in Utah for a potential trade? They could get something very nice for him.
