Visit reportedly went really well. He'd be the marquee scorer on our team and we have the cap space to sign him outright. We wouldn't have to dump any assets or move pieces around to sign him
I think it really comes down to Utah or Mia. Miami's pitch would be that Hayward won't be able to compete in the talent rich Western Conference next season if he resigns with the Jazz.

LeBatard yesterday put it best, he said that if Pat Riley is going all in for Gordon Hayward and willing to max him out, it's because he's not liking his chances at signing one of the big names next summer.
Looking at the big names next season, aside from maybe Boogie Cousins and a potential Dwyane Wade come back, I don't really see anyone that Miami has a realistic shot at.
