Predictions:

vs. Bama - L 23-37
vs. Utah State - W 41-13
@ Stanford - L 20-24
@ Utah - W 23-21
vs. ASU - W 38-23
vs. Colorado - W 41-18
@ AZ - W 31-17
vs, Cal - W 43-27
vs. Oregon - W 34-23
@ UW - W 20-17
@ UCLA - L 34-35
vs. ND - L 26-31

8-4 but high chance of going 9-3. @Ucla and vs. ND are coin toss games to me.

@Utah is going to be a huge game. A much needed win for Helton, or, a much needed loss so i can see him on his way out the door in 2 or less seasons. Swann already has a list of replacements ready. :smokin

So when will Nike release photos of all the Week 0 releases?

Looking at Eastbay release schedule it seems Monday might be the release day.

Still need to see more pics. Wanna see if the 3M is popping on these like the frees from last year.

Rep for post.

I wish Nike would give us something other than trainers for Week 0. Something with larger casual appeal.

LSU WR Tyron Johnson transferring from LSU, seeking 'more wide open offense'

Receiver Tyron Johnson announced on Thursday that he’s transferring from LSU, and his father, Tyrone, said it's because of the Tigers' offense.

"He wanted to go to a more wide open offense," Tyrone Johnson said in an interview with The Advocate on Thursday afternoon. "That was the only reason why."

LSU has blocked Tyron Johnson from transferring to another Southeastern Conference team, but the receiver could play at a junior college this fall and then re-enter the SEC, his father said. He is expected to make a decision on a school in "the next week," Tyrone said. Texas Tech and Oklahoma State were two of Johnson's finalists when he committed to LSU in January of 2015.

In a post on Twitter on Thursday, Johnson said he’s been granted his release and that he’ll “miss my brothers and playing in Death Valley.”

Johnson, a sophomore and the top-ranked prospect from Louisiana in the 2015 signing class, caught nine passes as a freshman last season and was expected to contend for the third or fourth receiver spot this season. He signed with LSU as a five star prospect by at least one outlet, Rivals.com, and ranked as high as the second-best receiver nationally.

Johnson, though, worked with the freshmen and reserves during the first three days of preseason camp, while other receivers – even a walk-on – worked in the morning group with starters and veterans. Coach Les Miles closed camp to reporters starting Sunday. The Tigers conducted their eighth day of camp Thursday.

Johnson, a Warren Easton product, caught a touchdown in the loss at Ole Miss last season, and he was competing in camp with a group of talented rookies – two of whom enrolled in January and participated in spring practice.

Freshmen Dee Anderson and Stephen Sullivan, mid-year enrollees, and Drake Davis are all challenging to be the Tigers’ No. 3/4 options behind starters Travin Dural and Malachi Dupre. Jazz Ferguson, a redshirt sophomore, served as the third receiver during spring practice.

Johnson is the third receiver to leave the team in the past eight months, joining John Diarse (TCU) and Trey Quinn (SMU).

It's as if he never watched LSU prior to committing and later enrolling in the school. Wonder if he got beat out by younger guys.

:lol at "Forever LSU." You're transferring so clearly not.

Johnson should've went to Texas Tech the first time.

Playing for Cam Cameron :{

He probably transferring somewhere where they know how to throw a forward pass

Where's Malik Zaire end up next season after Kizer wins the job this fall?
