This is true. So why in the world then, did y'all criticize him for passing to better, more open shooters in the 4th ?

youngblood imma need my reps b

and i would be surprised if the dubs dont want by at least 10 tomorrow.

I got you tho...gave you one like 3 days ago..just gave you another...idk how to give you all 10 at the same time ...im on mobile 99% of the time..and i can only give you one rep per post...but trust me I GOT YOU

That's not eem true, though.

TEEECHNICALLLY...

If OKC were to make 40 shots, all inside the arc: 80

But if GSW were to make LESS shots, say 30, ALL outside the arc: 90

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Only way the thunder will win today's game is if they score more points than the Warriors.

Magic dropping FAX

OKCs Billy Donovan has been doing a superb job of coaching starting in the Spurs series and now in the WCF series against Golden State.

I can't wait to see what team makes the adjustments tonight to win the all important Game 4 in the Western Conference Finals.

I didn't comment on the Draymond Green play because I'm old school and there was nothing to say.

Re-watched the fourth quarter.

Cleveland ran this for about the first 8 mins of the 4th quarter, as previously mentioned. Can't remember the last time Richard Jefferson scored 6 straight points in back to back to back possessions :lol

Biyombo needs to switch to LeBron and give the ball handler space (if it's anyone but Kyrie) or the defender needs to do a better job at going over the screen. Joseph practically was the reason the entire defense fell apart. Biyombo had to help on the roll and it was over at that point. If Frye or Love is on the floor, Carroll or Paterson needs to switch and stay on them. Cavs are more dangerous when they start getting the 3's to drop.

They also ran the stupid LeBron/Love high weak side screen for most of the game. Love would get the ball on the weak side block and either back his man down for a contested jump hook or an awful fade away.

Also, if memory serves me correctly the Cavs also ran a variation of LeBron/Kyrie high elbow strong side screen which led to a corner 3. Which was also being defended well, once the Raptors figured out to close the 3 and sag into the paint if LeBron had the ball.

Warriors transition defense was lazy for most of the regular season, probably because it would rear its ugliness in cold-shooting stretches where they were either not getting back due to Steph, etc.'s visible exasperation and demonstrative non-call appeals.

If they're not disciplined in that way (maybe because they are or were aware of how good they were so it probably wouldn't cost them to appeal to a ref rather than find their man if they just do it quickly - will backfire).

Also, just the fact that you have a team that shoots threes to such a volume on the offensive end like the Warriors combined with the fact that they're susceptible to lazy transition defense creates long rebounds when their shots are not falling, creating a higher frequency of opportunities for the other team to get out and take advantage more often than in the matchups vs. teams that don't ever fire from long range on a normal basis so there's no long rebounds or potential undisciplined qualities to be taken advatage of there if they're never creating the chance for them to occur first. There's positives and negatives to all approaches on both ends of the floor.

Did bompton prince pay up after game 2? Dude prob tied it to a pigeon and hope it got to its desired destination

I expect the refs to aid the cavs.. No way silver wants the raptors in the finals

why wouldnt he? that's a whole country that would watch. They had the ASW in T.Dot and everybody loves the new prime minister. I'm sure he pulled strings.

Guarantee if it looks like canada may move on, silver wont c-block. Especially for lebron. He aint the chosen one no mo

The Warriors style of play thus far has really been gasoline to OKC's fire.

They take quick, bad shots, long shots. Long shots lead to outlets and breaks.

The thing is, they normally make those shots but against one of the best defenses and biggest teams in basketball currently, those misses are more likely and you aren't getting any second chance points. Those misses are especially deadly in the chesepeake because they get those rebounds are out of there. Russ, Dion, KD, they were playing downhill and from 1st and 2nd fastbreaks all night.

For the Cavs-Warriors Redo Finals with Love/Irving present this time, these questions are absolutely pertinent and need to be answered before you decide who you think is going to win--

...

1.) Who do the Cavs/Lue match Kyrie Irving up on when the Warriors starting 5's on offense in order to minimize disaster? Are you going to put him on Steph? Lacks the speed, ability to keep up with him through several screens. Klay? He'd use his height and body differential against Kyrie's smaller stature and run him off screens in addition to that in the same way highlighted for Steph.

2.) LeBron on Draymond? Who does Kevin Love guard and what position does he play? Can LeBron play out of position on defense to lesser risks than if Love were playing on the wrong side of a mismatch on defense? Is this the truest spike we'll witness when it comes to the manic-Love-substitution patterns per the situation(s), variety of GSW lineups they'd have to dissect aside from just the problems posed by the starting 5?

...

The Cavs definitely have their full assortment of game pieces on the board now but these two questions are seriously hard to answer if you're Cleveland - harder than most matchup questions I'd imagine teams run into in any series, let alone the NBA Finals.

fam..nothing set in stone yet. you might be witnessing a murder of epic proportions and seeing a usa vs canada battle royale

Is there gonna be a losers bracket in this tournament? How could you analyze that series right now? :lol

O nah I wasn't told something was in stone yet, when the rock engravings go up and I'm there and you see me, then maybe reply to me like that but until then bold strategy cotton

That's the NBA lottery and it went chalk.

Because the downside of doing so is not as scary as you're thinking it is. Or something. Does it bother you if the hypothetical series is already being talked about? Just that conversation existing? :lol

All very good questions.

IMO, if we do see a Dubs/Cavs rematch it'll be a very different look, but a similar outcome.

Having Klay on Kyrie would be interesting, but I don't see how he'd have enough energy to stay on Klay or Curry on the defensive side. LeBron would have to stick Curry and hope it turns out to be another Derrick Rose ECF matchup.

Having Love on the floor against Iggy, Barnes or Green is a disaster waiting to happen. The guy isn't going to improve on defense over night. He's been an awful defender throughout his career. He's not changing that anytime soon :lol

The Warriors B team even matches up well against the Cavs B team. Very little mismatches out there, favoring Cleveland.
