OFFICIAL 2016 @HEAT PLAYOFF THREAD

I feel Spo needs some improvement as well.

Let me start off saying that I completely agree. Spoelstra would be the first one to say he needs to improve as the coach. But I would also like to say is they players themselves need to step up as well.

Having said that at the end of the day, the whole organization didn't get it done from Riley on down. After they got exposed in the Finals and LeBron left Riley and company tried to recover and stay competitive they best way they could. They failed... but in that failure they have put themselves in a position to really be competitive next season. Will Eric Spoelstra's plan to play faster yield positive results. Will he be able to win despite any injuries to key players this year? We shall see. This next season will show and prove who this coach and this team really are. Are they contenders or pretenders.

My problem with Rio is that he seemed to regress the last couple of seasons when he showed glimpse of potential i.e. Thunder Finals series

Love the signing of J. Rich!

I think Rio is a better player when he has a player like LeBron or a Wade to create opportunities for him. If you watch that video you'll see Rio scored 25 playing off of LeBron and Wade. When he is asked to create for himself or be a play maker he falls short. We now know he'll ever be THAT guy. That's not his strength. He's probably better suited as a shot maker and a backup PG. He's also a pretty good off ball defender and can create turnovers.

If the Heat do keep him he might flourish behind Dragic and Wade this upcoming season. Spo would have to make sure there are other play makers on the court tho.

As for J Rich, that dude could be a problem. An atheltic defensive minded 2 who can handle the rock at the 1 while having the ability to score and make the open 3. The rebirth of Eddie Jones... all day. :smokin

For those sleeping on Josh McRoberts...

When healthy this dude can flat out play. I hope he stays healthy this year so we can get more plays like the ones in the vid...
This group is absolutely stacked man. Players at every position & depth off the bench

No more getting bodied in the paint for bosh.

Bout to hit that paint this year ready to bang bodies.

Pause.

CB looks a little too heavy

One of his strengths is quick first step as a big man, don't know if he can do that with all that weight gainz

CB! Comeback Player of the Year! Book it now! I'm excited for training camp to get here!
