Had my first draft of the year earlier today. 12 team PPR league with 1 keeper per team after the 10th round. Picked out of the 10 slot. Didn't go 100% zero-RB, but close enough.
QB - Ryan Tannehill
RB - Lamar Miller
RB - Arian Foster
WR - AJ Green
WR - Randall Cobb
TE - Martellus Bennett
FLEX - Jeremy Maclin
D/ST - Jaguars
K - Chandler Catanzaro
Bench:
DeVante Parker (WR)
Kamar Aiken (WR)
Devin Funchess (WR)
Josh Gordon (WR)
Melvin Gordon (RB)
Charles Sims (RB)
Javorius Allen (RB)
James White (RB)
Melvin Gordon had a disastrous rookie year, but he was a high draft pick with a great college resume. He should improve in his second year in the league. I expect the Chargers to be better this year and go with a more run heavy attack. He also caught 30 passes as a rookie, a number that very well may rise as Danny Woodhead is getting old. I'll take that upside in the 7th round. /// Sims is already a PPR maven. If Doug Martin were to get injured or underperform - both are not out of the question - Sims is very capable of becoming a 3-down back, with massive RB1 upside. I'll gladly embrace that upside for my RB4 in the 8th round. /// In the muddled Ravens backfield, I'll take the guy with the highest receiving upside in Mark Trestman's offense. Allen in the 11th round could prove to be a huge bargain. /// Washington projects to start the season as the 3rd down back for the Raiders. Cheap source of receptions and a possibility of usurping the inefficient and underperforming Latavius Murray. I'll take that upside in the 12th round. /// With the news of Dion Lewis having to undergo another surgery and possibly missing 8-10 weeks, taking James White with my 15th round pick was a no brainer. The Patriots pass catching back is a valuable one. Immense upside for my RB7.
You dd pretty good but i think you could've done better.
1. Arian Foster in the 5th i think that was too soon for injury Back turning 30 this year, even it's 0.5 ppr, if it was the 7th i would be cool with that.
2. I know you say you don't carry back QB's but you putting your fantasy faith on Ryan Tannelhill, I couldn't do it he's no where near reliable. I agree with not carrying two QB's that's if you have the top 8 eight guys but not Tannehill.
3.Why do you have so many receivers? Your first three options are legit and I like Parker and Gordon as fliers. You can't play them all and receivers aren't as injury prone as running backs. Other then that your pretty solid.
