This team has improved vastly on the defensive end. It hasn't populated to wins, and it has been damn frustrating to watch, but this is night and day from last season defensively. There will be 5 minutes stretches of elite team defense. Haven't been able to say that since KG lived in Orono.

I don't know how many of those 5 minute stretches they've had, but it can't be very many. They're giving up more ppp this year than last. Only Portland has been worse on D so far this season. It's not vastly improved from last year at all, if anything it's gotten slightly worse.

To be expected when an entirely new defensive scheme is implemented. It def isn't very many, it's like one hand, but I didn't count any last year so theres that. 

I agree with Carver though, I don't want another lottery picks. We need to convert these assets to a winning team.
