Yep would've saved Portland from that dreadful Evan Turner deal too.

Yup, would've been the best possible outcome for them and myself/many others wanted him there.

I think he should've went there still, they have way more upside with him than the Heat do but Riley finally brining that bag out did the trick.

I have no idea how Whiteside would've fit in LA, but I'm still salty he didn't even consider the Lakers before free agency starter. :lol :{

Lakers not looking like a prime destination anymore 8o.

I feel like Kobe whole retirement tour kinda set the franchise back years because that year was always going to be a waste with him and Byron and because of that season and the one before they missed on everybody and ended up getting Deng/Moz who aren't even positive players for them.

Mavs really **** the bed. :lol

Cuban went from one of the sharpest owners to one of the worst in a hurry.

Was just about to say that. :lol

At least he has a great shot at Fultz.

Need him in New Orleans to save AD.

Low blow. :{

I do remember their last title though, which is more than I can say about the Knicks. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Shouts to Roberts for making sure the NBA is not like the NFL when it comes to former players.

Really tough to hear what Pearl and other older guys went through after their careers considering without them the game as we know and love it today wouldn't exist.

All this money flowing the least you could do is help the legends when needed, salute. :hat

Lowkey, when I saw Chris Paul and LeBron were going to be the reps for the union they (superstars) would just be out for themselves.

Nice of them to prove me wrong.

Amen. The NBAPA has done a complete 180 with their relationships w/players once their playing careers are done.

semi related but I remember back when Billy was the head of the NBAPA and me and my classmates got a chance to meet with him back when were in HS in the NBAPA offices. Was telling us stories about how players families, and players mothers, after they are done playing, will call the NBAPA literally crying, begging, and pleading for A job, ANY job, and the PA was pretty reluctant on that part back then.
