Dude was one of the behind-the-scenes schemers the league has ever seen. It is well known how he kept Isiah Thomas off the Dream Team. Hell, I've even seen documentaries about him where they use his scheming as a positive trait, to show how competitive he was and how he was constantly pushing the franchise to win, etc. But now that it can be used against LeBron, surprise, surprise: It is suddenly a negative trait.
Anyway, Kevin Love is a better fit for the Cavs than Carmelo Anthony. Against any team in the league except the Warriors that is. Dude averaged 8.5 points on .362 shooting, 6.8 rebounds, 1.3 assists, 0.7 steals and 0.3 blocks in 26.3 minutes in the finals last year. No, none of those numbers is a typo. Those are his actual stats in the 2016 finals. Those are not even good role player numbers. He's beyond useless against the Warriors. The Cavs will reach the finals with or without Love. Hell, they may reach the finals without Love OR Irving (see 2015 playoff run). It's the Warriors they need to worry about. And Carmelo can't possibly be a worse fit than Love against the Warriors. And if the Cavs lose against the Warriors, Cavs fans will look back and say "Should've gotten Melo".

Hell of a game tonight. Respect to the wiz. Played a hard fought game. The stars on the cavs just shined a bit brighter. I really liked what I saw as far as the fight and the heart.
Just wished the wiz didn't get so excited. the shimmied and did little celebration antics after every damn shot. Like fam...its not over yet. Grind til that buzzer sounds. Wall is dope. Dude def controls the team.
Kyrie is a monster..offensively. As we saw, when his scoring stalls, he does literally nothing. But still a threat because he has the 2k microwave badge. He'll get hot at a moments notice and all is forgiven.
Cold as game from Bron tonight. Was fun to watch. Dude was all the way locked in. Hit some huge shots down the stretch. That 'Kobe' 3 tho...

Love might've bought himself another week after that game. Stay of execution. Melo would ruin this team. Bron would hate him when he lets him down. Love would def force that buyout from the knicks and sign with GSW for the minimum. Then he would truly be unlocked.

The only reason Melo can possibly be mentioned as a better fit is his health > Loves health.
Granted they both have been on the mend from injuries off and on all season but Melo is hurt when he faces stellar SF's, so he starts holding his shoulder two games before that face off as part of the set up.
Or he plays hookie with the flu so he starts coughing on Monday so by the time KD rolls into town on Wednesday, he's in the middle of Pneumonia.
But that compared to Love who is legit a 27 year old in a 40 year old body, is >.
