The non playoff teams in the East have 135 wins, the non playoff teams in the west have 133 wins. The playoff teams in the West have 265 wins, the playoff teams in the East have 234 wins. 

Top to bottom that's still a 30 win advantage for the west. Give it a rest. This bottom feeding narrative is alternative facts, the bottom of both conferences are about equally as bad and there's much better teams at the top for the West.
