I don't like hearing the word 'microfracture' when it relates to a player, but nobody should be jumping off Jadeveon Clowney yet, unless it's the case of a person who panned him from the outset.

Well, no. You need No. 1 overall picks to work out. Misusing that when you literally have an entire draft pool to yourself to evaluate for five months and take the one player the time you put in has told you to grab, and that person doesn't become one of your 5-10 best players for the long-term... then that is another form of mortgaging your future.

Most def. Peters keeps his head right and his ceiling is Talib. Could be a top 5 CB.
Waynes is still shaky for me. I see a lot of Janoris Jenkins in his play.

i live in the seattle area so i hear a lot of coverage on peters' dismissal from uw...
from what i've gathered is that he just had a lot on his plate and directed his frustrations out on the wrong people. teammates rave about him and he was texting DBs about how to play receivers after he was dismissed..dude loves to win. the feeling over here is that his red flags are a bit overblown.
waynes though...he's good but he's a bit too stiff and that's NOT what you want in a db.

MSU runs lots of C4 (almost exclusively) so you'd have to know what is responsibility was on that play. Maybe he was lazy? Maybe he was expecting help? Got caught up in the backfield? Baylor also uses crazy wide WR splits to be able to get routes like that off consistently

Saw one of the drawbacks on Waynes being that he struggles with change of direction. Isn't that fatal for WR in today's NFL?

Also, legitimately have no idea either way what the Bengals should do. Part of me wants them to grab Malcolm Brown or Eddie Goldman, part of me hope Erick Flowers or La'el Collins is available, and the other part just wants them to go BPA. Is Kendricks at the Bengals spot a reach? Burfict and microfracture scares me.

If that is the case then you play him in a press scheme to help mitigate some of those deficiencies. PJ Williams is like that as well, has run into trouble at times in mirroring sharp breaking routes

Gotcha, that makes sense. See that he's a little handsy, so he may struggle at first. I can see Zimmer falling in love with him. Physical corner and solid tackler, plus he can run. Sounds like a perfect fit in that defense.

Trae's speed is what will make or break him in the NFL, he isn't a good tackler so he is going to have to be able to press receivers at the line and stay with them

More on Waynes. Being around so many MSU guys has peaked my interest in him.
ESPN has them as the most overrated prospect in a new Insider piece. Like the work that they're doing with PFF.

I have given up hope of the Giants getting Beasley,Williams,or Gregory. So we might I as well shore up the O-line, and go get a Safety in Rd 2.

I agree that Gregory will be there, I just doubt the Giants will over look the off field issues.

Any good pass rushers expected to be available in round 2? I wanted Falcons to take Fowler but he obviously won't be there so I'd rather trade back and acquire more picks.
