Teddy's interceptions need to be put into context this year. 2 from hail mary's and a few more that bounced off receivers' hands. His completion percentage (third highest for a rookie all-time) and overall growth from his first start to his last is why people are drooling over what Teddy can be. And that's not counting his poise, which is probably the best I've ever seen from a rookie Q. Most of this stuff are things that some of us had already seen and knew though.

Can't speak on his other games but he was atrocious in both games versus the Lions.

Annoys me how these reasons are okay for Teddy but not okay for Derek Carr. I'm not saying Derek is better, but if I threw these reasons out there (along with having the worst running game in the league), I'd have it thrown back at me.

I don't know about how objective PacificNorseWst is but Chester straight up picks and chooses what he thinks his valid based on who he has a hard on for then thinks being the loudest in the room makes him right.

Jim Harbaugh helping QBs Jameis Winston, Bryce Petty prep for NFL combine at Michigan

ANN ARBOR -- Few college coaches in the country know what it takes to play quarterback in the NFL better than Jim Harbaugh.

Actually, there probably isn't another coach in the country who knows what it takes to play quarterback in the NFL better than Jim Harbaugh.

And, perhaps as a result, it appears Harbaugh's using some of his time this week to mentor a few quarterbacks who didn't go to Michigan about what to expect at this week's NFL combine.

Michigan football's official Twitter account sent out of a photo of Harbaugh speaking with former Florida State quarterback Jameis Winston and former Baylor quarterback Bryce Petty on Tuesday inside Schembechler Hall. Both quarterbacks will be in Indianapolis this week for the combine, and both are spending some time with Harbaugh to prepare for what they'll see.

A Michigan spokesman did not immediately respond to a request for comment or further explanation. Though noted quarterback guru George Whitfield -- who trained both players in San Diego -- told ESPN he sent Winston and Petty to Michigan to speak with Harbaugh and passing game coordinator Jedd Fisch (who served as the Jacksonville Jaguars offensive coordinator last season) about the combine.

The quarterbacks also worked out Tuesday inside Michigan's Al Glick Fieldhouse.

Former Michigan quarterback Devin Gardner did not receive an invite to the combine this year, and is training for the NFL as a wide receiver.

The former Heisman winner Winston, meanwhile, is in the conversation for the No. 1 pick overall. Petty rates as the No. 4 quarterback prospect in the upcoming draft, per Mel Kiper Jr.'s big board.

Harbaugh, of course, played as an NFL quarterback for 14 seasons, and spent the past four years evaluating players at the combine while he was head coach of the San Francisco 49ers.

Stefon Diggs is a sleeper if he goes later than the 2nd kid is ulta talented. Not a speed merchant by any means. May run high 4.4s but shiftiness and suddenness will make him an impact returner early.

If your still hating on Teddy give it up. You will sleep better at night admitting he's a good QB all facets of the position.

Jameis defintely had a bit of a drop off in talent from last year to this year and had a piss poor sugar bowl no question.

But his first collegiate game against Pitt to me solidified him as first overall pick. Dude was so accurate trucking LBs. **** was fake. Seriously I havent seen a better collegiate QB performance.

^ If you are talking about the talent around him I totally agree. The amount of drops and routes that WR quit on leading to picks were numerous, I think this year showed a lot about how Winston teaches his teammates on the field and his toughness by playing through injuries.

He could have missed the entire year due to an injury this year and declared at the end of the season and gone first overall. Talent wise.
